Rowena Briones

Graduate Student 

Rowena Briones received her B.A. degree in Communication Studies (with minors in Marketing and Theatre & Drama) from the College in New Jersey in 2008. She is currently a second-year M.A. student in the Department of Communication studying public relations. Rowena’s research interests include the intersection of public relations and health (in particular women’s health and mental health), social media, and gender and diversity within public relations. Currently, Rowena works as a research associate for a firm specializing in communication and health marketing research, as well as conducts the PR activities as a full time graduate assistant for the Center for Risk Communication Research.
